LUX Style Awards announces Entertainment Category Nominations
KARACHI: The much awaited LUX Style Awards Entertainment Category Nominations were announced in Karachi on Monday. After the five member jury deliberated over the TV and Music Nominations they selected the Top 5 in each category. A tie for the fifth place meant that the Best Music Album and the Best Satellite TV Actor Categories had six Nominations each.
The jury for the TV Nominations consisted of Raheel Rao, Adeel Hashmi, Asghar Nadeem Syed, Sumaira Jajja and Scherezade Samiuddin. On the Music Jury were Maheen Sabeeh, Sami Shah, Ayeshah Alam and Faizan Haq.
Viewers across Pakistan will now be voting for the winners in the Viewer’s Choice Categories. On ground voting will be carried out in all major cities of Pakistan and last year the Awards Office collected over 1.2 million votes. Interested consumers can also log onto the LSA website www.lux.styleawards.com to register their votes.
The LUX Style Awards for excellence in Cinema, Television, Music and Fashion will be shown on the National TV Network and on Geo TV in August. Entertainment Category Nominations
